2023 Annual Meeting of the Danish Electrochemical Society occurs at DTU 101 during 02-03 November. Our master student Johanne Stagsted Kristensen gives a poster presentation entitled “Cyclodextrin modified hydrogels for mediated enzymatic bioelectrodes”. Xinxin is one of the organisers.

We have equipped a brand new Multi-channel potentiostat with 4 independent PalmSens4. This will save a lot of our time by a factor of 4!

Xinxin participated in the 74th Annual meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) in Lyon, France and gave an invited talk entitled “Conformational triggering in voltammetry and single-molecule conductivity of complex biomolecule”. Great thanks go to Otto Moensteds Foundation for financing the trip.

We welcome (1) a master student working on cyclodextrin for mediator loading and (2)the 7th semester (K7T) problem based learning (PBL) group project working on MOF glass for water splitting in the lab.

We have (1) Electrochemical Quartz Crystal Microbalance Module for our Autolab PGSTAT12 and (2) 10 A Current Booster for our Autolab PGSTAT30 installed, respectively. This will expand our capability in performing general electrochemistry study.

Xinxin has obtained a 4 M DKK Novo Nordisk Foundation Start Package grant for a duration of 4 years. This allows to recruit a PhD candidate and a postdoc researcher. Stay tuned!
